New ADLG Armies

We have played a lot of Art de la Guerre over the years, and it is sometimes confusing to keep all the different armies straight. To further add to the confusion, ADLG does not indicate which armies make appropriate historical opponents for each other. For a couple of eras, we have written up brief guides to keep gamers oriented.

These are not comprehensive in any sense - they are designed to describe armies for which we have miniatures in our collection. Despite this, they may prove useful to others who wish to amass similar sets of armies, so they can have a little variety in their historical match-ups (we play strictly historical games at our club - we are not really into competition play anymore.)
